NO ONE TAUGHT HIM EVER.

He is just winging it all day, every day. He is a ROMANTIC SAP, though, because he loves fairy tales and the like, which is why he is the best boyfriend when he's not accidentally ruining your life/erasing you from existence/endangering your family/killing you/being killed by you.

He flirts unconsciously because it's just how he is. Super friendly, super dorky, and someone who needs a lot of attention. He has a habit of...just matching whoever's he's speaking to?

BUT MOSTLY HE IS DUMB AND FLIRTING UNCONSCIOUSLY AND WINGING IT LIKE A THING THAT WINGS IT BECAUSE HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING.

Her whole 200 year career is badass--but she thinks managing to be a diplomat and stitching up an alliance deal in three days is pretty badass because she hates doing diplomacy. Voluntary animal transformation, parachute-jumps and fancy footwork amongst giants were the more fun parts while dealing with witches and taking orders from her ex-husband the mayor were the worst bits of that mission.
